Warranty & Returns


We want you to be happy with your purchase and realize sometimes things go wrong. We will do what we can to remedy the situation and make you satisfied. Please contact us and talk to us first. There are options.


We practice first-class quality control and packaging methods, but the buyer is encouraged to inspect the purchase upon receipt for damage or defect. DAMAGED PACKAGES SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTED. Notify us immediately. All packages are shipped insured. We will take appropriate action with the delivery service and, if in stock, resend the merchandise. Shipping costs will be on us. Otherwise, we will issue a refund.

If a damaged package has been accepted then DO NOT THROW AWAY the box or packing materials.  Notify us immediately and we will contact the delivery service.  NOTE:  Without the shipping box and packing materials an insurance claim cannot be made and we will be unable to replace the merchandise or offer a refund.

If a purchase is defective, a replacement or refund can be made if the buyer notifies us within seven (7) calendar days of delivery. A Return Authorization Number will be issued and is to be clearly written on the buyer's returning package. In all cases, the purchased items must be returned before a replacement or refund is made. Photographs are not sufficient. Items returned, while considered defective, must still be in new condition and must not have been used or damaged. Shipping costs and all fees will be on us. Non-new-condition items will be returned to the buyer and no refund will be issued. All shipping costs (i.e. free shipping and return shipping) will be charged to the buyer and must be paid prior to resending the shipment. See ALL RETURNS below.

If the buyer fails to notify Chess Artistry within seven (7) calendar days of delivery then no damage claims will be honored.

Promotional and Special Sales

Promotional/Special Deal Purchases are sold as is and are not returnable.

Undeliverable Packages

If the shipment was undeliverable because the buyer provided an incorrect or not complete address, then all shipping costs (i.e. free shipping and return shipping) plus any additional fees will be the responsibility of the buyer and must be paid before any shipment is resent.

Returns (Just changed your mind)

Please contact us immediately. If the order has not shipped it will be canceled and a refund issued. If the order has shipped then please see below.

Please accept the package. Should the buyer refuse the package, additional fees may be charged by FedEx and will be passed on to the buyer in addition to the shipping charges. Please see below.

Requests for refunds must be made within 21 calendar days from the date of purchase.

Contact me for a Refund Authorization Number which you will clearly write on your returned package.

Returns must be made within 14 calendar days from the issuance of the Return Authorization Number.

Returned items must be in unused and resalable condition.

Items used or shopworn are not returnable.

We have a 20% re-stocking fee (may be waived in an exchange).

Original shipping costs incurred by Chess Artistry (i.e. free shipping) will be deducted from your refund.

Shipping costs to return the purchase to us will be your responsibility.

ALL RETURNS (After discussing your options with us)

Pack the purchase in the original packaging or better.

All delivered items must be included in unused condition in the return.

Return within 14 calendar days from the issuance of the Return Authorization Number.

All returns must be shipped insured, trackable with signature required. Insurance is required to cover any loss during return shipping.

Enclose a copy of your original purchase details.

We will use the date of shipping on the packaging for dating purposes.

Please allow up to two weeks to process your refund. Your refund will be returned to you on the same credit card you used for the purchase. Be advised that we are not responsible for delays caused by your credit card company
